Google "Advance Fee Fraud"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance_fee...

You will find that in order to get your fabulous winnings, you have to send in a fee for the paperwork to be cleared, or for a bribe for an official, or some other excuse. Of course when you send the fee, the scammers will disappear.

Or, they will attempt to get your credit card numbers, bank accounts and passwords from you and steal your identity and money

Reply:its a scam i just got one almost like and posted almost the same question it is a nigerian scam they eventually ask for your bank account or tell you they will send you a check and you send them some of it back but by the time you find out that the check is bad they alreqdy have your money do not beleive any email you get like that
Reply:This is a scam. The same thing happened to me a while ago. Also, my friend got a letter in the mail saying he won $76,000 from a drawing. he called, and they said when he gets the check to send back $5,000 of it. Now, we checked online for this so called drawing and found out it was just a scam to get into your bank account.
Reply:Why would Yahoo and MSN, two of the biggest competitors in the business, run a lottery together?

It is a scam that has been circulating on the Internet for several years now.

I love this site. You can check what E-mails are scam and which ones are not. You do not have to subscribe, just click on the search button. I hope this helps!
Reply:I wish it was true because I get the same email about 50 times a month.
