Even the icon for yahoo wont open the page. What have I done and what do I do to get them back. I have got an icon called '%system drive%' and I dont know what that is.
All my short cut icons for pics,display,add/remove, all work ok.

If all they are are shortcuts, then it is safe just to delete them. Then START
ALL PROGRAMS
RIGHT CLICK ON PROGRAM REQUIRED
SEND TO
DESKTOP
This will create new shortcuts.
The System drive is where your operating system resides.

If you have deleted it from your recycle bin, then it is gone. You have deleted it from the server.
If you need the email back, you will need to get the sender to re-send it to you.
There IS a reason why the recycle bin exists: so that you don't delete anything for good unless you are sure you no longer need it.

This email is using Yahoo and MSN logos and names of people and I would like to email a copy of this to yahoo. If it's for real I'd like to respond and enter if it's a scam yahoo and MSN need to know somebody is using their name and logos for personal profit.

On vista windows mail can't use msn to email anymore. I put in pop &smtp for yahoo and still can't send, Why?
unless you have a business account you dont "pop" yahoo mail, that's done via a web browser at http://mail.yahoo.com

i receive a number of emails from strangers (i mean people whom i dont know very well in my contact list) even though i have blocked them and deleted them from my hotmail contacts.....

no. I blocked somone and then she emailed me. But you can blcok her from your email too, that way they cant contact you at all =)

They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

I don't know how you can get around. I used to go to the My Yahoo page and could get through the filter here at work clicking on my mail, but they eventually figured that one out too.

You can e-mail anyone you want. If you want to instant message them, you have to have the same carrier...ie. AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Reply:Email clients do not care about the domain name, they care about whether or not they can find a pop3/imap server. Not all webmail companies offer pop3 or imap, and if they do not no clients will work with them.

We have both, signing up for HotMail is not the problem. you might have clicked something on sign-up to transfer? Check at both ends.

How do I retrieve photos/emails i sent to myself on my MSN email address?
About 2-3 years ago i had lots o f photos on my old PC, but as i didnt have a usb memory stick, i decided to use my email account (msn/hotmail) to send the pictures to myself (msn email) so it would save in the sent items.
But now just remembering i done that and want to see the old memories, how exactly do i locate the photo attachments i sent?
Ive clicked on sent items but its empty?
I still have emails recieved dating back to 2002 , so they shouldnt have automatically deleted?

A block of options should appear.
Click on more options at the bottom of the list.
Find the title Junk - e-mail

wonder if anyone can help, have a new blackberry curve but have not got a clue how to register my msn mail account so I can receive personal emails on the handset!! I have wi-fi at my house and dont have blackberry package but was told I didnt need it.
