This is a scam, you send them money to pay for shipping, then they need more money, then you never get anything. More likely than not, his 'courier service' is nothing more than a few guys sitting around computers, sending out e-mails and waiting for money.

I use MSN Explorer to view my email. When I click on a link in an email it opens the page up in MSN Explorer. I'd rather have the link open up in Firefox. Where can I change the file association for that????

I bought a new computer. It seems great. Suddenly, the msn email is not working. It's been days. I went to the library and was able to get into my msn.com email just fine, but the system at home says the msn mail is still temporarily not working.

you go to the top right hand corner of the windows live messenger screen and there should be a little person and a green + a little down and to the left. click on it. then click on add people from other services.

Can't get into my MSN Hotmail email?
I have MSN email and Messanger. 2 different icons on my screen. All of a sudden the other day my messanger when I click onto it works but the one for my email does not. I never changed anything and my husbands says he never touched it either and he does not use hotmail anyways. But now on the icon where there used to be the immages of 2 heads is what looks like a blank computer screen. When I click onto it a notice comes up that says it is not found. Anyone know what happened or what i can do to get it back?

MSN do not allow OutlookExpress or other mail systems into their site, its to do with security. Sign up on Orange or Tiscali
they allow others in , then you can get your e-mails on Outlook
with your new e-mail address, not Hotmail

It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace.

I tried emailing a file of MSN conversations, and when I open the email - it has the conversation, but with a bunch of other text stuff, like codes and such. You have to search through all the texts to find the actual conversation pieces.
Is there a way to email those conversations, so when I open the email, the file will be readable? Just how you'd normally open the conversation file in your Received Files folder. I tried selecting "Open With" then Internet Explorer, Word, ect... but nothing is coming out clear. I don't know a ton about computers, just the basics... so I'm hoping there's an easy way to do it.
I just want to be able to read the conversation clearly, in case something happens to my computer and those files are lost, get what I'm saying?

Now, on the top left corner, you'll see an envelope icon with "Hotmail" glowing blue next to it. Click on Hotmail.
This'll open the log in page.

Can you email MSN conversations?
I tried emailing a file of msn conversations, and when I open the email - it has the conversation, but with a bunch of other text stuff, like codes and such. You have to search through all the texts to find the actual conversation pieces.
Is there a way to email those conversations, so when I open the email, the file will be readable? Just how you'd normally open the conversation file in your Received Files folder. I tried selecting "Open With" then Internet Explorer, Word, ect... but nothing is coming out clear. I don't know a ton about computers, just the basics... so I'm hoping there's an easy way to do it.

You must configure the type of email service you are using in Outlook express for the send to work. Depending on the type of email (POP3 in your case I am guessing) the settings vary. This usually needs server names of your incoming and outgoing mail servers.

New msn shows contacts email address?
Ok I downloaded the new msn and all my contacts are shown in the form of their email address. When they come online it changes to their display name and when they go offline it stays as their display name like normally. But is there any way to get all teh contacts that haven't gone online yet to go back to their display name instead of their email address.

If the other person had you in their list, then open up Messenger, click: Tools, Options, Privacy, then half way down you will see "Contact List - See who has added you to their contact list" and there you will get everyone who has you as a contact

Yahoo and MSN are free email sites--the only way you can view them at the same time is make use of tabbed browsing and sign into Yahoo on 1 tab and MSN on the other and view them concurrently. You can also forward your emails from 1 site to the other, I believe, but I'm not sure how you do that.

Nope, it's not possible mate, yahoo and live are two different companys, it would be like asking dr pepper to make you a fanta :)

How do I transfer my email and contacts from my msn account?
Your going to have to do that manually msn will not allow you to transfer from their site. I have tried. Another thing you may not know if you do not use your account with msn then after 10 days of none use they delete your account and you must start over, with new everything and be approved again. My girl friend talked to me on messenger and told me about it.

I happen to have done the same thing, and it is frustrating. When I signed up, long ago, I had a different alternate email. My old computer crashed with that information. I tried to reset my password but now can't access my alternate email.
Here is a number to call to get help: 800-642-7676 It is the MSN Windows Live phone number.
