My MSN email account has been hijacked.?

Someone is sending emails in my name to my contacts, to sell electrical goods. How do I stop this from happening and get my account back in my control? I'm happy to close my account if necessary to stop this from happening.

If you can get into your msn email account, just change your password under settings. Had something similar happen to mine.

When i changed my password, had no other problems.
Reply:If you still have access to it, I mean, if you still can log in by using your password, just close it. You have another option of changing your profile info like zip code, city and state, plus the secret question and secret answer (which should be different from the question in order to fool "hackers", if possible).
Reply:It's called a phishing scam. Have your friends send the e-mails from your address back to you, and notify MNN that's it a phishing scam and mark it off as spam. Change your password and other contact info if needed. If e-mails persist, you will have to shut down your account and create a new one.
Reply:I recently helped a friend with this problem. Rather than trying to login to msn, login to your windows live email account, then change your password immediately.
Reply:Dude u have to change ur password really fast. Because your hijacker might think of doing that if you don't do it soon.
